The Youth and Sports Counsellor of the La Palma Island Council, Ascensión Rodríguez, expects to “count on new national and international trail remarkable names, apart from the elite runners that are regular participants of the race and the La Palma and Canarian runners that each year exceed their performances, in the next Transvulcania edition, which will be very special, considering it will be the tenth anniversary of the race.”
“On this occasion we have chosen a new theme for the event, Space Runners, like a tool to highlight the island and its sky as one of the best places in the world to observe and study the cosmos,” added Ascensión Rodríguez.
